Each participant can only represent one organisation in the event.
Participants are required to use step counting mobile application Apple Health (for iOS user), Google Health Connect (for Android user) or Huawei Health (for Huawei EMUI user) to record step count and synchronise the record with the e+Life Platform.
Participants are required to enable the sharing permissions of step data with e+Life Platform in Apple Health (for iOS user), Google Health Connect and Google Fit (for Android user or other mobile brand) or Huawei Health (for Huawei EMUI user only). Please visit here for tutorial video on step count record synchronisation.
Please note that if you are an Android user, according to Google’s guidelines, please download the Google Health Connect and Google Fit applications, and enable permission for the “e+ Life” Platform to share step count data. After confirming that there are step records in the Google Fit App, please open the e+ Life Platform to participate the event.
Participants are required to open the e+Life Platform every day to synchronise the step count record with the e+Life Platform to avoid overloading the e+Life Platform. Participants are also advised to open their step counting mobile applications every week so that the e+Life Platform can access and retrieve more accurate step data and better synchronisation effect can be achieved.
The step count record synchronised with the e+Life Platform before changing mobile phone will be retained. After changing mobile phone, you are required to enable the sharing permissions of step data with e+Life Platform in Apple Health (for iOS user), Google Health Connect (for Android user) or Huawei Health (for Huawei EMUI user) in the new mobile phone.
Step count records synchronisation from outside Hong Kong may be affected by various regional factors (such as local network connectivity or regulatory restrictions) which might result in them not being synchronised to the e+Life Platform.
Participants can still synchronise relevant step counts to the e+Life Platform afterwards on or before 4 December 2024, but they will not be able to collect the Health Coins for the daily mission in the “Lazy Lion’s 10,000 Steps a Day” from the e+Life Platform. Participants can sill receive other rewards concerned in the game, if synchronisation of step counts is successful.
